I've compiled a report of (almost) all the large events I've worked, as well as how much flights, and accommodations cost. I also didn't include Ubers and food, but my food budget doesn't change dramatically from when I'm at home to when I'm at an event.

I usually book 4 people to a room and share 2 to a bed. This year there was a lot of free rooms since I was able to find people who would let me get a floor spot for free, or I stayed with people who lived close to the venue. Finally for a few Head Judge roles, the organizer would sponsor the room. The "hotel" column is the cost for the whole weekend (Thursday to Monday, usually)

I fly out of a very small two-gate regional airport on the West Coast of Canada, so for international events I will often have to connect through a larger airport.

Some events will have some very cheap travel costs, that's because I was able to chain the event together with other US events and either drove from the previous event or took a very cheap Spirit or Frontier flight. For those I just split the intermediary flight and assigned half the cost of it to each event.
